new wardrobe anyone?

Friends of mine left for Europe just before Easter and to say I'm a little jealous of their Roman Holiday is  an understatement. So I went searching in the internet for inspiration and an attempt to take my mind of the fact that my best friend is away for three whole weeks. 

I stumbled across this gorgeous shoot, inspired by a European getaway and fell in love instantly. Although we are heading into winter an Australian Winter isn't really a proper winter, you can get away with wearing beautiful dresses like these and simply layer them up. So it got me thinking and planning what I'm going to wear this winter. What is on your lust have list this season??

so my favourite season is around the corner, autumn and here come the new collections. i have fallen in love with this karen walker look and i'm on the hunt for it.  

falling hard and springing back

As the northern hemisphere enters fall (autumn) everyone is blogging about the greatly anticipated change in weather. One of my favourites so far has been 'falling hard' on design crush. Which these beauties are from...

We however, are springing back from winter.. It was particularly cold this year and to my joy, I was able to spend many nights by the open fire. 


However I'm well and truly ready for the spring, all the flowers are blooming and the birds have begun to sing again...

There is such a gentle beauty in a blooming flower as it begins its journey and heralds to us, that there is a change in the air. 


I'm looking forward to the warmer evenings, PIMMS with friends and more spring adventures!
