zekka in king street

recently i caught up with a friend at Zekka in king street, it was a perfectly crisp morning and the breakfast and coffee were terrific, not to mention that everyone is right, the guys that work there are great eye candy (ha ha ha). as i was heading back home i walked past the 'newest kid on the king street block' and said 'chanello'!!  what a terrific morning, there really is something great about being in that phase between exams and graduation when you don't have the commitments of uni, or a full time job. it was such a full on few final weeks and its nice to take some time to breathe and relax. cant wait to share some more of my adventures, here and now!

winter inspiration

so by perth standards it is fresh at the moment and i have been working so much lately, which has been incredible, i haven't had a chance to enjoy the cold. i'm just desperate to head home at night, light a fire a read the latest issue of lonny. but i find myself trying to finish my quilt or following up on press leads for work and all in all i just want to escape on a get away. speaking of that, are you going to rottofest? this could be a great adventure....

celebrating my 25th birthday

i don't normally do personal posts on my blog but i couldn't resist with this one! a while back my parents threw me a party at home for my 25th. its was the most perfect night with family and friends the food was delicious, spanish paella and tapas, the conversation was sensational and the jokes kept going. the night went on until the wee hours of the morning, when everyone departed and out went the candles. its was the perfect start to my 25th year. thank you to all that came and made it so special and to my family for all your effort xx

MoMA's picasso to warhol opening night at AGWA

on friday 16 june, 2012 the art gallery of WA opened its exclusive MoMA at AGWA exhibition. there was a great party in the foyer, delicious food and wine and a few friendly faces. after listening to a melbourne based band who said 'over in the eastern states, we are all really jealous of perth right now' we were all like... "we know" and went on to dance the night away and stroll through the exhibition at our leisure. it was a great night with wonderful friends, michael, and we even made some new ones - courtney and taylor!

the picasso to warhol exhibition is on at AGWA until 3 december. make sure that you check it out! it is well worth it!!
